وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّحَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ “‏ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ الْحَىِّ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ ‘Abdullah b. ‘Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:The dead is punished because of the lamentation of the living.
