حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَيَّرَ نِسَاءَهُ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ طَلاَقًا‏.‏ ‘A’isha reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) gave option to his wives, but it was not a divorce.
