وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، – يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقَارِيَّ – عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ لاَ تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَلاَ الْوَرِقَ بِالْوَرِقِ إِلاَّ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ ” . Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:Do not sell gold for gold and silver for silver weight for weight or of the same quality.
