وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، ‏.‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِـ ‏{‏ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى‏}‏ وَفِي الصُّبْحِ بِأَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏ Jabir b. Samura reported:The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to recite in the noon prayer:” Glorify the name of thy Most High Lord in the morning prayer longer than this” (lxxxvii.)
