وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ، – يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ – حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ أَوْ سَاجِدٌ . ‘Ali b. Abi Talib reported:The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) forbade to recite the Qur’an, while I am in the state of bowing and prostration.
