وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، بْنُ بِلاَلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُخْتٍ، لِعَمْرَةَ قَالَتْ أَخَذْتُ ‏{‏ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ‏}‏ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ ‏.‏ ‘Amra daughter of Abd al-Rahman reported on the authority of the sister of Amra, I memorised (surah) Qaf=surah l.): ” By the glorious Qur’an” from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) on Friday for he recited it on the pulpit on-every Friday.
